To Move the Needle Forward, We Need YOUR HELP!

Over 50 percent of employees in local and state government are women, yet less than 20 percent are represented at the most senior executive level of local government. The League is working hard to move the needle forward! But, we need YOUR help!

Although we don’t know all of the reasons why women are underrepresented, we do know that, education, training and development are the keys to increasing diversity of all kinds in organizations. Further, we know from research that gender balanced and inclusive organizations are more financially sound, innovative and successful.

Today we ask for your support of the League of Women in Government through a donation to our annual fundraising campaign. This year the League is sponsoring and partnering with other organizations and MPA programs to execute our “12 Events in 12 Months” Plan to support our mission to Educate, Mentor, Encourage and Support women in government. Because we do not charge a membership fee, we rely on corporate sponsorships and donations from individuals like YOU.
