We Need EACH OTHER!
The League of Women in Government is run 100 percent by volunteers. That being said, we couldn’t keep up with all of our activities without our dedicated sponsors and organizational partners. EVERY dollar received is put back into the organization’s minimal operational costs for our website, event support/underwriting and development opportunities for our members. Specifically, sponsorship dollars are used for:
- Educational materials for local government officials regarding #GenderBalance, #13Percent and their importance in every local government organization;
- Nationwide listing of training and development events;
- Up to date information on policy trends that affect women in the workplace; and
- National, regional and local networking and learning opportunities.
The League is pleased to offer several sponsorship levels, as well as a place for you to make individual donations to the organization. Each level is described on our registration page and comes with opportunties for sponsors to connect with our over 500 members across the country and via our extensive communications and social media networks. Becoming a sponsor is the optimal way to show your support for the work the League does to advance our mission to Support, Mentor, Encourage & Educate by:
- Strengthening relationships between women in local government,
- Informing women of leadership and professional development opportunities, and
- Educating officials about the value of gender diversity in leadership.
