The League is pleased to announce that the Mini-Documentary, Steps Toward Gender Balance, produced by NRC, Inc.’s Marketing Manager, Angelica Weddell has been featured by Audience Awards in the Female Filmakers category.
Audience Awards is an innovative, filmmaker platform, with a rapidly growing community that is 150,000-members strong. AudAwards features live events, audience voting, branded film challenges, video contests and film news. Audience Awards provides an organic opportunity to cross-promote brands, projects, products, services, causes and the work of emerging filmmakers on a broad scale. Angelica’s film shot at the 2016 ICMA + League of Women in Government Symposium in Kansas City highlighting the slow growth of the number in local government senior exectuive positions fell in line with the the Audience Awards’ platform to achieve gender parity in the film industry.
